Best Prime Day deals 2023 — 63 sales To Grab

The Amazon Prime Day deals are already here, even though the actual day itself kicks off on July 11 (Tuesday). Early shoppers have a choice of hundreds of early Prime Day deals, ranging from gadgets to kitchen gear; just be aware that while some deals are great, others can be a bit dry.

I’ve been covering Prime Day since its inception. Now in its ninth year, Prime Day is losing its luster for me. (There are only so many Echo Dot deals you can stomach). Sure, we’ll see some great price lows throughout the event, but the vast majority of discounts will be on items you really don’t need. To that end, I’ll be looking for deals on items we’ve tested, that I personally own, or that the Tom’s Guide staff recommends.

For instance, right now the best early Prime Day deal I’ve seen is the Amazon 43-inch Omni 4K Fire TV on sale for $99.99. That’s the cheapest 4K TV I’ve ever seen. There are two caveats to this deal. First, you have to request an invite to buy it when the sale goes live on Prime Day. (Just log into your Prime account and tap the “request invite” button). Also, in our Amazon Fire TV Omni review we said it’s a good TV, but not great. So if you’re picky about picture quality — as you should be — this TV isn’t for you. Otherwise, it’s an amazing value at $99.

Amazon has also released dozens of deals on Alexa-powered devices from $12. These deals are the bread and butter of Prime Day and while they’re very predictable, they could still come in handy if you’re looking for some early back to school sales or need to replace an old Echo speaker. For example, right now you can get the Echo Show 5 (2023) for just $44. It’s a highly predictable deal, but this is the first time it’s on sale and we were fans of its predecessor, which makes this a no-brainer deal if you’re interested in smart displays.

Everyone’s on a budget these days, so if you’re looking for inexpensive Prime Day deals — we’ve rounded up 11 of the best Prime Day deals under $50. The list includes everything from budget earbuds to microSD cards. (And, yes, a few Alexa-powered devices as well).

From discounts on smart devices to epic sales on Apple gear, here are the deals worth checking out as we race to Prime Day 2023. For more ways to save, make sure to check out our list of the best Amazon promo codes and Amazon deals this week.
